Early Life and Education
Rafiath Rashid Mithila was born on 25 May 1984 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The media arena was her passion in early life. She learned singing at Hindol Sangeet Academy and dancing at Banoka Lalitakola Academy. First, Mithila was admitted to Little Jewels School, enrolled at Viqarunnisa Noon School, and then completed HSC. She studied at the University of Dhaka and took Honors and a Master’s in Political Science. Mithila also completed a B.Ed from the National University.
Career
Rafiath Rashid Mithila started her career as a professional employee. After completing her education, she joined BRAC, the largest non-government organization in the world, as an intern. She worked as a research assistant at BRAC before moving to the USA as an intern for the Minnesota International Center. Mithila made her debut in the media world by modeling for Neelanjana Palli.
She is very popular for the TVC program in the country. Along with her husband Tahsan, she made several popular TVCs and music albums in Bangladesh. Mithila acted in their commercial advertisements for Jui, Robi Aftab Foods, and Closeup Kache Ashar Golpo. She became popular nationwide for her terrific role in the Houseful TV series. Rafiath Rashid Mithila married a model and singer, Tahsan Rahman Khan, on August 3, 2006. On April 30, 2013, she gave birth to a daughter named Aira. The couple is the happiest celebrity couple in the country.
After 11 years together, Mithila got divorced in May 2017, and she disclosed it in July 2017. This ended the successful celebrity conjugal life in Bangladesh. Some intimate photos of her with film producer Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi went viral on social media, and she drew huge attention across the country.
