Aamir Khan was born on March 14, 1965 in Bombay, India. His father is Tahir Hussain, a film producer; his mother is Zeenat Hussain. He grew up with this younger brother and two younger sisters. He grew up around the film industry, considering his father’s job, and because many of his paternal relatives were also members of the Hindi film industry.

Aamir Khan completed his secondary education at the J.B. Pettit School in Mumbai, St. Anne’s High School in Bandra, and Bombay Scottish School in Mahim (Mumbai). He was strongly interested in lawn tennis and represented his school in state-level competitions. He was also the Maharashtra State Tennis Champion in his first year of participation. After completing his 12th-grade education, Aamir decided not to pursue further academics.

Khan began appearing in films at the age of eight. His first film appearance was in “Yaadon Ki Baaraat” in 1973, followed by a role in “Madhosh” the following year. He attended the J.B. Aamir Khan started his career as an assistant director and acted in student documentaries by students of the Film and Television Institute of India.
